Dear Members of St. Paul,

This week the newsletter is being emailed. If you know of someone who cannot get to an email, please share this information with them. The mailed version should be back next week.

Day Light Savings ends! Remember to “Fall Back” this weekend. Set your clocks an hour back on Saturday before you go to bed!

WORSHIP SERVICES for the weekend of October 31 & Nov. 1 : Saturday individual communion service by appointment. Please call Sue to reserve your spot (815-979-3952

Mini services at 8:00 and 9:00. Reservations for these services are not be required, but you can still call Sue (815-979-3952) and ensure that you have a spot if you would like.  The 10:30 service is a regular service.

The Foundation Fund directors manage an account from which interest earned is available for active St. Paul Lutheran families who have a student(s) enrolled in Rockford Lutheran High School.  The account has received memorials in honor of saints who are now in the Church Triumphant, as well as gifts from other supporters of Lutheran High School.

If you have a high school student at Lutheran, please contact Steve Hartenberger at 968-2089 or hrtnbrgr@comcast.net by November 11, 2020. We will send a check to the school and evenly allocate the available funds to each student’s tuition shortly after the deadline.

Women and Girls of St. Paul: Join us on a Mission!

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Ladies Guild ingathering!   Charmel Jacobs and Robin Snodgrass from the Rescue Mission will be guest speakers on November 4, 1:00 pm, in the fellowship hall, (masks and distancing protocols will be in place) to receive our initial pampering 'party' ingathering and to also talk about the ongoing work of the Women's Crisis and Recovery Center.

Gathering of new items for St. Paul Pampering 'Party' (giving TO gals at the women's crisis and recovery centers, who are in need of the basics we take for granted FROM St. Paul Lutheran gals of all ages) continues this Sunday:

Questions? Suggestions? Want to help? Call or text Carol Ulrich: 815-277-7838; email her at wedulrich6@yahoo.com

We ask you to continue praying for all of our members and especially for: Irene Six and Dennis Cutler for healing. Also for Vi Giardini & Joan Kern who are homebound.
