Dear St. Paul Family, The children and I have been blessed by the abundant generosity you've shown to us since Aaron's death. I know we are not the only ones in the church mourning his loss, yet you, even through your own sadness, have come to our aid in so many ways. We thank you for the sweet words of support and love, the delicious meals, the generous gifts, the wise advice, and the abundant, faithful prayers on our behalf. James 1:27 says, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction . . . ." Thank you for helping us. We are truly grateful for you, our church family. Sincerely, Lorrie, Gus, Kati, Carl, Nora, Josie, and Peter

Transition Team News
Following is a brief summary of some of the activities that have begun over the past few weeks:
Two groups have expressed interest in potentially purchasing the central site campus. Both groups would more fully utilize the facilities than we have been, and both would be able to make more far-reaching, positive impacts on the surrounding community than we have been able to for many years! As their considerations are in the very early stages, both groups prefer they not be publicly identified, nor discussions made public, at this time.
Efforts are ongoing to identify and collect items that are valuable and necessary to our congregation.
We are studying what it would take to remove the altar, pulpit, lectern and baptismal font.
Church records, historical documents etc. will come with us. In the short term these items will be stored safely until the time we can determine a proper and permanent home for them.
We have done some research to determine if moving the organ - or part of it- would be wise. Some components (chimes, for example) can easily be transferred to the N.W. organ. Interesting note - there are currently over 500 used pipe organs for sale in the U.S.
We have begun sorting, cleaning, remodeling the office at Northwest. This includes a re-organization of the kitchen space to make storage more efficient. We are also in the process of getting phone & internet services transferred to the northwest site.
We will sort and move the books currently in the church library. These will be stored until some point in the future when we will re-establish the church library.
